The challenges in turning epigenetic hope into clinical utility
Biotech and pharmaceutical companies are investing heavily in next-generation epigenetic programmes, but there are a number of barriers to break through before the promise of these new therapeutic approaches becomes a reality. This presentation will cover the issues around epigenetic target selection, therapeutic areas, medicinal chemistry and toxicology and speculate on where the first successes are likely to be found.
