"The current and future state of assay development and screening"
 
Effective assay design, prosecution and analysis is the key to identifying appropriate novel hits and thus the overall success of drug discovery projects. In this session we will spotlight both established and emerging technologies via presentations in specific techniques as well as technology comparisons. Case studies of traditional and more challenging target types will be covered, along with overviews of success rates for different target classes.  The session will also review initiatives to maximise the value from screening efforts and drive down cycle times and costs through innovations in assay development and screening.
